Where community connects

A new way to connect with Kitchener Public Library

There’s a lot going on at Kitchener Public Library!

The new Central Library in downtown Kitchener. Our new brand and our new logo.

And our new tagline – Where community connects.

Kitchener Public Library truly is where community connects. Our youngest citizens and our oldest, new Canadians and people who were born and raised here, students, business people, artists, moms and dads: you have a place in Kitchener where you are always welcome to make your own community connections.

We provide the space, the programs and events, the resources and the staff to help you make those connections. We can’t wait to see and hear about how you connect.

Please join us for the Opening Celebration of the new Central Library on Saturday, September 6. If you’ve already visited Central Library, this is a chance to meet the architects and artists who helped to create this spectacular space. If you haven’t been here yet, our day full of activities and tours are the perfect introduction.

Be sure to bookmark this, our new blog, and check back often. We’ll introduce you to our staff, donors, and volunteers. We’ll show you our new digital media lab and keep you informed of all our great events, programs, and resources. We’ll visit Central Library and your four community libraries and stay on top of what’s happening near you. And, of course, we’ll talk about books.
