More than 500 copies of new High Demand DVDs have hit our shelves!
We know you love new DVDs, but some of them can be difficult to get your hands on without joining the holds list.
And we already have Express DVDs on our shelves – new releases that can’t be put on hold. That’s great for frequent library customers who can come in, grab a movie or two, and return them within three days. But the short-term loan and fine rate of $2 a day make Express DVDs less convenient for some customers.
Now, we’ve got a new option: High Demand DVDs. These are titles that have a long holds list — but we’ll have copies that, like Express DVDs, cannot be put on hold. Just browse through them in the New Releases area for DVDs any time you visit the library.
Current titles include Interstellar, The Internet’s Own Boy, Wild, Woman in Gold, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and many more.
What’s the difference between a High Demand and an Express DVD?
- Keep your High Demand DVD for up to 7 days.
- Daily overdue fine is just $1.
- No limits on the number of High Demand DVDs borrowed per card.
