Come and visit us on Sunday – we’re back to serving you seven days a week!

We’ve returned to regular hours, which means that starting this weekend, October 18, and running until December 13, Central Library is open on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.

There’s lots to see and do. Take in our family-friendly Free Flick, starting in the Theatre at 2 pm every Sunday. Explore, connect, and learn at your new Tech Bar. Save your old films and photos to digital files, or create a 3D masterpiece in the Digital Media Lab. Relax in the Reading Lounge with colouring pages for adults. Check out the current exhibit in the Art Gallery at Central on the lower level (a new exhibit each month!) Pick up a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate from Hacienda Coffee. And, of course, stock up on books, movies, and music to get you through the week.

Parking is free on Sundays in both the underground garage and the Ahrens Street parking lot, so no matter where you live, making a visit to Central Library just got easier if you’re driving.
