Holiday happenings at KPL

We’re heading into the winter holidays, and as always, your library is a happening place!

We’ve got events and activities for all ages — but you can also just come and hang out. There’s a beautiful, soaring Christmas tree in the Reading Lounge at Central Library, and the friendly staff at Hacienda Coffee are always ready with coffee, espresso drinks, hot chocolate, and treats.

It’s the perfect spot on a chilly winter day to read, knit, bring the kids and do homework or write Santa letters. Last week a couple stopped in, got a cup of tea, and sat at the long oak table, writing out all their Christmas cards.

But if you’re looking for something more, we’re not slowing down, and we’ve got fun for everyone at all locations.

Thursday, December 19   Youth Advisory Council Holiday Meet & Greet for kids and teens Grade 7 and up. Pizza, music, videogames, movie.
Just drop in to Central at 4 pm, no registration required.
